All right, so here's what's happening. Each mod has a limited number of instances. Let me put it this way: Let's say you download a mod of some boxing gloves. You install it, look at it in the program, and you see that the gloves are available to you in ten different colors. Suppose you want to add some new colors, but you don't want to lose any of the original ten. Today we're going to explore how to add an eleventh color.
First thing we do, AS ALWAYS, is..what? MAKE A BACKUP FIRST. You don't want to lose your original copy of the mod.

So, now you've edited the textures from your .tso file. Let's rebuild the .tso with those edited textures. Drag and drop your tso folder onto TSOdecrypt.
Right-click on the newly created .tso file and select 'cut.'
Right-click on your tah folder and open it in a new window.
Go into 'Data,' then 'Model.'

lets say you downloaded a mod WITH a preview image,you open the file look at the image and BAM its a pervy item one way to clean out a mod folder WITH pervy items is to copy the name of that pervy mod you downloaded and search for it in the ARCS folder most of the time you get search results with other pervy mods with those words in the name.
